It’s super fun being a girl but is it getting stupidly expensive as well. Low maintenance women who don’t spend much time and effort on being perfectly coiffed and made up are becoming hard to find these days. Hardly could all those women escape the temptation of having forever, the teenage look, velvet soft skin, glossy lips, glowing cheeks and luring eyes, offered in the beauty adds.

The beauty industry has turned the waxes, cleansers, concealers, maskaras and face masks into every day essentials from luxury items. They say and I truly agree that when two women meet the first thing they notice is how the other is dressed. I don’t say that men are less fashion and beauty conscious these days, they too are a direct target of beauty industry, but it is proving instinctive with women.

Where conversations among men would all end up at discussing politics, a women gathering is hardly without an in depth analysis, not just a gossip of what is “in” these days and who is getting so “out fashioned”. During the credit crunch rumors nearly one in every three woman in US was ready to cut down on food but not on beauty products. The question is; is it really worth exhausting one’s pocket and energy in finding a moisturizer that has alpha hydrox in it or a hair product sans alcohol.

Women will spend more than eight years of their lives shopping says a study and dedicate 90 trips in a year to keeping up their appearances. Shopping proves to be an inborn hobby with woman. When money matters don’t run too smooth, or the hubbies go nuts with the wives’ shopping spree, women are so ready to take a respite in window shopping, they are at least flexible, humble beings in this matter.

Then it’s not men’s pocket women would always rob for shopping, they are even hard on their own purse when they are making their own bucks.

Make up has proved to be synonymous with women since times immemorial, Lets guess if the two words separate poles apart in the near or distant future.
